About this tournament

The Event:
Welcome to the Old Spur Shootout sponsored by the Cabin at Old Spur. This event will feature 10 holes (played through twice in a single round of 20 holes). Players of all skill levels are welcome and there are now THREE divisions to chose from. Experienced (EXP) is ideal for those who regularly play competitively; Recreational (REC) is great for casual players; and Beginner/Junior (BEG) is for newcomers or kids 12 and under. A portion of proceeds will support a local charity! Plus, there will be custom trophies awarded for top finishers, lots of CTP cash and prizes, and points awarded for the FDGA summer points series!
The Layout:
This course features a custom 10-hole layout (par 34) with mixed basket types on loan from FDGA members. All tee areas are grass or dirt and will be well marked. Caddie books with layout and boundary notes are available here:

Additional Info and Fee Breakdown:
You may purchase a lunch ticket (hot dogs or bratwurst freshly cooked on site!) for $5 at check in. All participants who bring a physical item (see list below) to donate to charity or make a cash donation of any amount ($5 suggested) will get a single mulligan to use during tournament play! Lastly, we will have 50/50 cash raffle tickets available for purchase on site (all proceeds go to charity).
$20 entry fee breakdown:
$6 (30%) to charity
$4 to FDGA club needs
$7 to CTP payouts
$2 to ace pot
$1 to series payouts
The Charity:
We are supporting the McLeod HOPE fund which stands for "helping oncology patients everyday". This group provides assistance to local cancer patients in need by providing meals, clothes, financial assistance for non-medical bills, and much more. The HOPE fund was created to meet the personal needs of cancer patients while on their cancer journey. A portion of the entry fee will go to the HOPE fund and there will be incentives for anyone who donates to the HOPE fund with details to be announced later. The most commonly requested items for donation include:
-Non-perishable food items for the food bank
-Adult Diapers (like Depends)
-Hats (including beanies and baseball caps)
-Blankets
-Food Lion Gift Cards
-Or cash donation
The Venue:
