About this tournament

Join us on May 17, 2025, at Benbrook Ranch Park Disc Golf Course for the first-ever Grumpy Golfers Open! This non-sanctioned, TWO-round event is all about fun, friendly competition, and building a new tradition in the local disc golf community.
This event follows a winner-takes-all / Ace Race layout, making every throw count!
Shotgun start.
- The winner of each division will receive a custom made showcase trophy.
Players who pre-register by April 30, 2025, will receive a free event-stamped shirt.
Every participant will receive a players' pack that includes:
✅ Custom event-stamped shirt (if pre-registered by the deadline)
✅ A MINT disc
✅ Custom-made LZR Velcro patch
✅ Custom-made disc golf-related magnet
✅ Post-round meal (menu TBD)
We are also working on bringing in vendors, running a raffle, and setting up a social gathering after the round with food and beer. Sponsorship opportunities are available, and we’ll provide updates as they come in!
The event is capped at 72 players, so secure your spot early!
