About this tournament

Disc golf on Governor's Island. Skyline views. Statue of Liberty in the background. One custom-designed course, built for one day only.

This is the FLY OFF COURSE Open, and it doesn't exist anywhere else. Presented by Populace x NYCDGA ???? June 13, 2026 ???? Governors Island, NYC

THE COURSE

Populace & NYCDGA are designing and installing this 18-hole course specifically for today. It winds through the moat of Fort Jay and the surrounding grounds of Governors Island, with unobstructed views of the Manhattan/Brooklyn skylines and the Statue of Liberty. It has never existed before. It will be gone after June 13th.

MAKE A WHOLE DAY OF IT

Governors Island is a destination on its own. Bring friends, bring a blanket, grab food on the island, and stay as long as you want. The ferry runs all day.

SUPPORT THE MISSION

This event includes a fundraiser for the NYC Disc Golf Association (NYCDGA), a Brooklyn-based 501(c)3 nonprofit on a mission to bring disc golf and green space access to more New Yorkers — starting with youth and underserved communities across all five boroughs. Every dollar will go directly to programming. If disc golf or finding community outdoors has ever made you smile, this is a good place to put that feeling.
