Refund policy

Event Refund Policy

Players who wish to officially withdraw from registration must email or phone their withdrawals to the Tournament Director ONLY at the contact information posted for the tournament. Correspondences with persons other than the Tournament Director, including tournament staff, shall not be considered official, nor shall such correspondences connote official withdrawal.

Wailtlisted players pay the full tournament entry fee with no guarantee of promotion to official registration. In the absence of promotion to official registration, said waitlisted players shall be refunded 100% of the paid entry fee (def: entry fee includes tournament purchases and disincludes any Discgolfscene fees which may or may not be recaptured).

Players who officially request withdrawal from the event at least 30 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 100% refund of entry fee excepting therefrom a $2 handling fee.

Players who officially request withdrawal from the event 15 to 29 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 100% refund of entry fee excepting therefrom a $2 handling fee ONLY IF player's held spot is filled by promotion from the waitlist. In the event that player's held spot remains unfilled, Tournament Director has the option to provide the player's pack the player would have received if they had attended excepting therefrom the cost of shipping. In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro Player pack worth at least 25% of the entry fee, Tournament director will provide a 50% cash refund.

Players who officially request withdrawal from the event 14 to 7 days prior to the start of the event will receive the player's pack they would have received if they had attended excepting therefrom the cost of shipping. In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro Player pack worth at least 25% of the entry fee, Tournament director will provide a 25% cash refund. If the opportunity arises during this period, Tournament Director reserves the right to fill their spot from the waitlist. If player's spot is filled in this manner, player will receive a 100% refund of entry fee excepting therefrom a $2 handling fee in lieu of player's pack.

Players who officially request withdrawal from the event up to one week before the start of the event will forfeit their entry fee and will not receive a refund or player's pack.

Players who do not officially request withdrawal from the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacement players and who do not play the event thereby forfeit their entry fee and do not receive a refund or player's pack.

Once registration closes, field(s) and purse(s) shall not change without reasonable consent of Tournament Director.
