About this tournament

Griplocked invites you to Audubon DGC for the DBA Memorial Hosted by Griplocked Driven by Innova.
In between rounds Chuckwagon Cuisine will be catering for all players and is being hosted along with a Celebration of Life for Dave by the Ansley Family.
Pro divisions will receive payout via Paypal while AM divisions will receive gift cards to Griplocked. Recreational divisions will be trophy only. All divisions will receive a players pack.
Check in and same day registrations will be at the pavilions by hole 7 and 16. There will be no players meeting all tournament information will be emailed to players.
All divisions will play 2 rounds with the first round starting at 10AM and the second round starting one hour after the last card is turned in.
AM division gift cards will be emailed to players that cash out after the 2nd round that can be redeemed at the shop or online at https:///www.griplocked.com
From Dave Ansley's Wife Tracy:
"The DBA Memorial Tournament is being held to memorialize David “Dave” Ansley PDGA #12299, AKA Hippy Dave who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 3/25/2020 at the age of 60.
Dave’s home course was B B Owens where he was a fixture for well over a decade. Dave made and donated all the original T-box signs when BB first went in.
Dave was known for his putting and mind games on the course and his compassion off.
Dave took 8th in the Masters division at the 2002 PDGA World Tournament in Houston, Texas.
His love of the game was only exceeded by his love for “his girls” wife, Tracy and daughter, IsaBella.
Dave would have loved the fact his memorial tournament is being held on the same weekend as Women’s Global Event as from the time he began playing in the early 90’s, he hoped the sport would take off with women and tried to encourage female participation.
Dave’s family hopes the DBA Memorial becomes an annual event each May.
