About this tournament

The Clash at Catalpa VIII will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Camp Catalpa Disc Golf Course in Richmond, KY. It will be a two round, unsanctioned, shotgun start tournament. Awards will follow the final round with a break between both rounds for lunch.
There are multiple divisions available to play in, but if you are unsure which division you fall under, please reach out to any of the Tournament Directors and they will be able to offer guidance. A minimum of (5) players must be registered for any division offered. If a minimum of (5) players is not met, the players will have the option to play in their next closest division based on skill. An exception of a minimum of (3) players will be made for any Pro/Women's Division offered.
Check-in will start at 7:30am and continue until the player's meeting at 9am. At this point, any corrections to registration/divisions will be finalized and player's starting hole will be posted along with fellow cardmates. Shotgun Start at approximately 9:30 am. There will be approximately a (1) hour break for lunch between rounds with a second round starting around 1:30pm. Awards to follow final round.
The Clash at Catalpa VIII is Unsanctioned from PDGA play this year. What does that mean for you? If you have never played in a PDGA tournament before or are not a member of the PDGA, this means you save $10 off the top for not being a member. The other incentive is we are no longer held by payout restrictions. This means all divisions (Pro & Am) will be paid out in cash for prizes and awards.Top 40% of all division will be paid out. There will also be (18) CTPs available for all divisions and (2) bonus ace holes. Your chances to win and have fun just increased by a million probably. There will be no player's packs provided for any division.
There will be charcoal grills available for use in both pavilions if you want to make your own lunch before or after the rounds along with use of both pavilions. I will update as more information becomes available, but there should be a food truck on site for lunch as well for purchase.
