Welcome to the Challenge at the Y
We are looking forward to a great time at the Y. This tournament will be played on the YMCA disc golf course. Over the year the course has taken on a few improvements. Signage, Tee pads, 2 small redesigns and dual pin locations on a few holes.
1. This is a C-Tier PDGA Tournament.
2. Players meeting virtual
a. An updated caddy book will be sent out prior to event and printed copies will be available day of. OBs and hole specific rules will come from caddy book not course signage.
3. Schedule: December 10th
a. Check-in/late registration 7:30am – 8:45am
b. Round 1 Shotgun start 9am
c. Round 2 Shotgun start approximately 1 hour after last card round 1.
d. Awards immediately following completion of second round
i. Playoff will be for first place and overall lowest score.
1. Hole 18, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, then 5, 6 on a loop until a winner is decided
4. Pools: A-Pool AM1, AM2, AM 40+; B-Pool AM 50+, AM3, FA1, all junior divisions
a. If the need arises divisions will be added with a minimum of 3 registrations
5. Side games
a. CTPs - All players in. A premium disc.
i. All pools - #3, #5, #6, #15, #16 Long Drive #18
ii. A Pool - #9
iii. B Pool - #11
b. Ace Pot – All players automatically in. ($5 entered for each player.
i. For ties in aces or no aces hit CTP hole #12
c. All Pools: Lowest overall score - Disc golf Basket
6. Players pack – all players receive a $25 voucher to DCOM, tournament shirt, and towel
7. Tournament is Trophy Only
8. Refunds/Cancellations – Adam Johnson, Oldham County Family YMCA
