INFORMATION

I hope everyone is ready for tomorrow! It looks like great weather! Here are some notes to remember for the event.

CTP Information
- MA4 and RAG will have a combined CTP opportunity on hole 1 round 1
- MA1, MA2, MA3, MA40 will have a combined CTP opportunity on hole 6 round 1
- Additionally, all amateur players will do a throw off at the end of the event for a portable basket. Be sure to stop by tournament central to throw a disc, even if you did not place for any other prizes

- I will close registration and post starting holes this evening around 6:00 pm.
- We will use PDGA live scoring to keep score. pdga.com/live use code jcopen26
- Pay attention to hazard, OB, and Mandos noted on the notes for the holes in the PDGA app
- I ordered trophies based on the registration 2 weeks before the event. I have 1st place only for MPO and MA1, and 1st and 2nd for all other divisions. if you place without a trophy, I have a prize for you as well, just no trophy tag.
- The player's meeting will start at 8:00 and the first round will being promptly at 8:30 am.
- If you got a player's pack, when you arrive, you can select three items from the tables. ANY three items.

PARKING

Park in the field to the right of the entry driveway. We need to keep the main parking area clear for other park users.


SUMMARY

2 rounds 18 Holes Shotgun Start
We are finalizing some plans right now, but expect to use just the normal 18 holrs of the course..

This tournament will use the Official Rules of Disc Golf from the PDGA for play

This tournament is set up as a fundraiser to benefit the Jackson County Disc Golf Club a 501(c)(3) organization. All proceeds will go directly to supporting disc golf in and around Jackson County Florida at Citizen's Lodge Park and another course coming soon!

PLAYER'S PACKS + PRIZES + PAYOUT

You may opt out of the player's pack (you will still be entered in the CTP and play for a trophy)- you're basically selling your player's pack back to the club for $20 - This will save $20 per player - Simply select the "No Player's Pack" option at checkout.

MPO and FPO divisions will play for 100% payout after the $3 per player PDGA fee.

This is a True Amateur event.

Player's Packs for Amateurs: $60 value per person
-- 3 discs or items from our selection which includes discs, towels, hats, and more!
-- Trophies for the winners (see below)

Trophies will be ordered based on registration 14 days before the event,
One player: no trophy required.
2-4 players: 1st place only.
5-12 players: 1st and 2nd place.
13+ players: 1st through 3rd place.

We have trophies for the following places based on registration as of Feb 28
1st place only - MPO and MA1
1st and 2nd for all other divisions


REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Need at least 4 players per division (unless it is defined as underserved) - If you would like a division that is not available, please let me know. Divisions will be final 14 days prior to the tournament. I will trim divisions that are not full at that point. Exceptions may be made depending on which divisions have players and which layouts they are playing.

Please note that players who play MPO or FPO and accept cash will have their status set as professional in the PDGA system.

I can honor requests to play with another player who is in the same division as you during the first round only. Second round assignments are based on first round score.


LAYOUTS

MPO, MA1 = Blue Layout (Long Tees to Black Baskets)
MA2, MA3, MA40 = White Layout (Short Tees to Black Baskets)
All other Divisions = Red Layout (Short Tees to Red Baskets)


FUNDING

This is a breakdown of the fees associated with registration as required by the PDGA. Be aware that I personally, as a tournament director, make no profit from the tournament at all. Any fees listed below that would go to a director or would profit an individual are donated directly to the Jackson County Disc Golf Club a 501(c)(3) organization.

AM value
--$3 per player PDGA fee
--$3 per player TD fee
--$45 per player for player's packs
--$1 per player for trophies
--$5 per player for CTP's
--Total provided value is $57 at the minimum

Pro Value
--100% of pro entry fee will be paid out as cash after the $3 per player PDGA fee

REFUNDS

The Jackson County Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the PDGA refund policy 1.03 in the Competition Manual.

Hole/Tournament Sponsorships are non-refundable after signs have been printed.

Jackson County DGC is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
