Ballarat Disc Golf will be kicking off the 2026 season with our premier event, The Golden City Classic.

We would love to thank both Guf Ballarat and Innova Discs for again coming onboard as the title sponsors for this year’s event and helping us put on a great event for you.

The format of The 2026 Golden City Classic Powered by Guf and Supported by Innova will look quite familiar to folks who attended last year, as we will once again be tackling slightly modified versions of Ballarat’s two popular 18 hole courses, Victoria Park and Mount Xavier, over the course of two days.

Event Format
- 108 Player Cap
- PDGA C Tier
- ADG Tour Event.
- Tournament Director: Reece Surkitt
- Tee Times / Staggered Start
- Round 1 will be on Saturday the 17th at Victoria Park,
-- Pro Divisions playing the 2026 Golden City Classic VPBlue+ Layout.
-- Amateur Divisions playing the 2026 Golden City Classic VPBlue Layout.
- Round 2 will be on Sunday the 18th at Mount Xavier Golf Course,
-- All divisions playing the 2026 Golden City Classic MX Layout.
-- Food and Drink will be available over the bar. No Alcohol before or during your round as per PDGA 3.03.B.5 and 3.03.C.4
-- Presentations will take place after the completion of the division.

Player Entry Fees
- $100 Professional Divisions
- $75 Amateur Divisions
- $50 Junior Divisions

Event Loot
- All players will receive a 2026 Golden City Classic Pin from RatAccs
- Divisional Winners will receive a bottle of Mead from ThreeHorn Brewing and a Gold Pan Trophy.
- The Pro Purse will be 60% of the Pro entry fees paid out to the top 40% of each division.
- The Amateur Players Pack includes a custom event stamped disc from Innova Discs.
- The Amateur Prize Pool is at $1,050 in vouchers from Guf Ballarat
- Entry to the Ballarat Disc Golf Ace Pool is included in your event entry fee.
- We will also be running our usual Buy-in CTP, Divisional CTP, Longest Drive, and In-The-Drink Raffle events.

Pro Rata cost to host the event based on 108 players is $31.85:
- Passthrough Fees as per PDGA 5.04.3
-- Mount Xavier Greens Fees: $5.00
-- Council Event Permit for Victoria Park: $2.00
-- Bathroom Fees: $6.30
-- TD Fees: $2.00

- Things that aren't classified by the PDGA as Passthrough Fees but they are still required:
-- PDGA Sanctioning Fee for a C-Tier event: $0.70
-- ADG Sanctioning Fee for a 2 day ADG tour event: $14.00
-- First Aider, this is a requirement of the Council Permit: $1.85
