Divisions and Terms:

Mixed Junior Divisions: Male and Female participants competing head to head with each other.

Female Junior Divisions: Female participants only. (Questions about gender identification and the PDGA rules can be found on the PDGA website.)

Age-based Junior divisions are offered in six groups based on a player’s year of birth: Junior ≤18, Junior ≤15, Junior ≤12, Junior ≤10, Junior ≤08, Junior ≤06, each of which are available in Mixed (Male and Female) and Female-only divisions.

Pool A: Mixed Junior ≤18, Female Junior ≤18, Mixed Junior ≤15 and Female Junior ≤15

Pool B: Mixed Junior ≤12, Female Junior ≤12, Mixed Junior ≤10 and Female Junior ≤10

Pool C: Mixed Junior ≤8, Female Junior ≤8, Mixed Junior ≤6 and Female Junior ≤6

A player's official “PDGA Age” for the purposes of participation in age-based divisions at sanctioned competition is determined by their year of birth, not their day of birth. For example, a player that turns 19 on their birthday in October of 2021 is not eligible for MJ18 or FJ18 during the entire calendar year of 2021. So think about your age on December 31, 2023. That age dictates what division you can play in. Example: If you are 10 on 12/31/23, then you can play in ≤10, but if you turn 11 before 12/31/23, then you have to move up to ≤12.
