About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This fundraiser event is to support Stewart McIsack's trip to Australia in November 2024 for Team Canada.
Teams of 3 will compete in the following format.
Round 1:
Team player 1 plays singles.
Team player 2 & 3 will play WFDF Alt Shot.
Round 2:
Best shot triples. This round will play the 'same' course but with a twist. The format is best characterized as a round where "Amazing Race" meets "RIPT Revenge." You can expect added regulated routes and fun adjustments to each hole. You will not know the rules of the hole until you arrive to the tee of that hole. The pace of play in this round will be slower as all 6 players on the tee will throwing.
A team's final score will be the average score of Round 1 (singles and Alt Shot) plus the Round 2 score. For instance, if your singles player shots 60 and your alt shot team shoots 70, your round 1 score is 65. This will be added to the best shot triples score.
There will be a significant number of CTPs, draw prizes, and added prizes to the event via Stewart's disc golf collection.
Mulligans will be for sale at $ 5 each or 3 for $10. Mulligans will be limited to 3 per player in Round 1. You may use unlimited Mulligans in Round 2. Mulligans are player Mulligans, not Team Mulligans. Mulligans may not be shared to another team mate. Using a mulligan means the prior throw is no longer available for use.
Half of entries fees will be removed for the fundraiser.
TD may make a 20 hole layout to add 4 more teams if demand exists.
Teams must play in the division based on their highest rated/best player.
What is WFDF Alt Shot?
In this format of Alt Shot the players choose before the round starts which holes they will throw the tee shot. Each player must throw 9 each. No player may throw more than 3 consecutive tee shots in the round.
