About this tournament

This will be Cass City Park's first ever PDGA sanctioned C-Tier tournament. 2 rounds of golf Presented by TD Academy, this event is a low-cost new player friendly tournament that encourages players both with AND without a PDGA membership to take part in the fun! The $15 membership fee for non-members is being waived for this event, so if you have ever considered trying out a sanctioned event, but the membership dues have kept you away, NOW is your chance! This will be a true amateur-only event.

The PDGA has been gracious enough to supply the player's packs which will include 2 discs and a mini. The first 50 registrants are guaranteed players packs. After that, I can only do my best! They will also be donating a percentage of the event monies right back to Upper Thumb! We will use these funds for further park upkeep and additions! So the more we fill this tournament, the better we can make our awesome course.

CTPs/Long putts on every hole, some division specific. $5 ace pool entry.

As this is a true amateur PDGA event, there will be no payouts.
Trophy to the winner of each division with 3 or more players.
Ace pool paid out via paypal. Please allow me a few days, as this event is going through the PDGA's paypal account so moneys will have to be exchanged on my end. If no ace is hit we will have a throw off.

Player's Meeting will be both virtual and in person. An e-mail will be sent out the day before the event with all relevant info, and a short in-person meeting from 9:10am to 9:25am at tournament central. Keep an eye out for sticky'd comments in the comment section!

SIDE GAME - King of the Hill! We will have 4 different stations on the hill (Hole 11/12) to putt from marked with yellow flags. The rules have changed so please pay attention! Each station will be worth a set amount of points (Station 1 = 1 point, Station 2 = 2 points, Station 3 = 3 points, Station 4 = 4 points). You can choose which station(s) you putt from, and can continue putting until you miss a putt. Whoever has the most points wins a King of The Hill trophy! This side game will take place in between rounds 1 and 2, and after round 2 as well. I will announce ctps and division winners BEFORE this side game concludes so anyone not wanting to participate but still won their division/ctp can leave if not wanting to participate.

CADDY GAME - Caddies! Thanks for pulling the weight! If you manage to film an ace, you'll get to pull a prize from the mystery bin!

Lunch includes hotdogs from Ben's Market and water/soft drinks from Upper Thumb.
