ABOUT THE EVENT

Welcome to the 2026 TD Academy: Spring Birdies Women's AM Tournament presented by Jax Roofing. This tournament is a day for women and girls to have fun playing (first time and seasoned players), meeting-up with other players in the area, and grow the women’s disc golf community. By being a part of the WGE (Women’s Global Event), participants will be playing with women from all over the world. Spring Birdies is also a fundraiser for B-town Birdies Women’s Disc Golf sponsored by PDGA TD Academy.
We were able to keep the registration fee low due to the generous donations from our sponsors. (More information on the PDGA TD Academy, PDGA WGE, and Sponsors are located below).
Location
The tournament will be played at Karst Farm Park Disc Golf course. The course is in a beautiful park with open fairways and rolling hills in Monroe County, IN. Check-In will be at Shelter #3.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

This a PDGA Women’s Amateur C-Tier fundraiser tournament (trophy only). Trophies will be presented to the first place winner in all divisions.
All FA Divisions, FJ18, & FJ15
• 2-rounds, 18-holes, shotgun start.
Junior Divisions FJ06, FJ08, FJ10, & FJ12
• 1-round, 18-holes, shotgun start
• Junior trophies will be presented after round 1 at the shelter.
• Juniors younger than 13 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian per PDGA guidelines (Competition Manual Section 1.13) https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/113
Course Layout
There will be 2 layouts for the course.
Layout 1: All FA divisions, FJ18, & FJ15 will play the 18-hole layout from the main tees.
• The current layout can be found on Udisc (Karst Farm Park Layout - Full 18)
• There are OB’s (Out of Bounds) on the course. There is a possibility that some will be modified before the tournament.
Layout 2: Junior divisions FJ06, FJ08, FJ10, & FJ12
• Will play a modified layout on selected tees.
• There is OB on the course. Some may be modified before the tournament.
The course is available to play (Junior FJ06, FJ08, FJ10, & FJ12 layout will be ready two weeks before the tournament). If you want to play the course with other women, B-town Birdies will be having pop-up meetups on weekends (weather dependent) from now until the weekend before the tournament. Scoring
We will be using the PDGA Live Scoring App to keep score during the tournament. https://www.pdga.com/pdga-live-app
Pass through fees
• Player Packs covered by our sponsors
• Non-member PDGA fee waived by the PDGA (for being a part of the TD Academy & WGE)
• PDGA fee waived by the PDGA Women’s Global Event
• Remainder of fees after expenses (trophies, water, etc) will be donated to B-town Birdies Women’s Disc Golf
Ace Pot (optional): $2
If no aces are made during the tournament, the funds will be donated to B-Town Birdies Women’s Disc Golf.
CTP (Closest to Pin)
Adult divisions and Junior divisions will have separate holes that will be CTP’s. Prizes.
PDGA Membership
Players do not have to be a member of the PDGA. The non-PDGA member fee ($15) is waived for this tournament. No PDGA membership required. (Thank you PDGA TD Academy and PDGA Women’s Global Event!)

Eiko is enrolled in the TD Academy Program. To complete the program, tournament directors apply what they learned through organizing their own PDGA C-Tier fundraising tournament to go towards a disc golf group in their local community. Eiko chose for the fundraiser to go towards B-town Birdies Disc Golf.
Donation Options
• Sponsor a hole ($20): Your name or business name/logo will be posted at a hole (your choice of hole number if available) and on sponsor signs near check-in. If you would like to add a fun or good luck message to the players, that can be added as well. If you would like to sponsor a hole, go to the registration page and select HOL in the divisions. Select the hole you would like to sponsor in the drop down at the end).
• Donation (pick a bird): Not able to attend the event or would like to add a donation to your registration, there is a section on the registration page to pick your donation bird level. (If you are donating only, go to the registration page and select DON in the divisions. Select the donation bird level in the drop down at the end).
• CTP Prize donation: If you would like to donate an item for CTP prizes, reach out.
• If you would like to donate in another method or be a sponsor in another way, please reach out.

What is the PDGA TD Academy? (Tournament Director)
The PDGA TD Academy is a tournament director training program for PDGA members who have never directed a PDGA disc golf tournament before or seasoned tournament directors to refine their skills. It includes five bi-weekly virtual learning sessions through live video meetings. The official PDGA TD Training program is also built into each session. To complete the program, tournament directors apply what they learned through organizing their own PDGA C-Tier fundraising tournament.

What is the WGE (Women's Global Event)
The PDGA Women’s Global Event is a biennial event for women to play with women from all over the world. The event is between May 15 – 25. The scores from the first two rounds of each WGE tournament will be submitted by the tournament director and rated by the PDGA. A “Global Score” will be calculated from the averaged round ratings and the winner in each division (PDGA Women’s Global Event Champions) will receive a trophy. Not only will you be competing against the women in your local tournament division but from women in your division globally. In 2024, over 3,500 women worldwide participated.
