About this tournament

We are very excited to bring one of the first TD Academy tournaments to Jacksonville at New World DGC. This event will be focused around a fun atmosphere for all Amateur players in our area.
We will play one round of singles on the new Blue/White Tees Short to Green layout (shout out to Matt Johnson and Charlie Booras). Pending how quickly tournament spots fill, Discraft player’s packs (pictured above) may be limited to first 50 to register. Registrants after player’s packs run out will be notified and will receive alternate pack of similar value.
This tournament is meant to focus on growing the sport while we raise a little money for a local non-profit, Able Approach. Every dollar profited will go to providing free disc golf clinics to individuals with Down syndrome in North Florida and Aurora, Colorado.
Over the last 12 weeks Ian Kennedy has went through the PDGA's TD Academy and the culmination of that program is running this tournament!
Entry fee is $30 and non-current PDGA fees will be waived to make the event more accessible for all players in the community. This event is a true amatuer event with players pack only.
The event will follow all PDGA refund policies that can be found on the Discgolfscene page for the tournament.
General Registration Opens October 1st and it closes 48 hours before the start of the event.
