This is a PDGA true amateur event, with 1st place winners receiving a trophy
Welcome to the inaugural Burgers and Birdies disc golf tournament at Windlands Park in Midland, TX. This tournament is focused on collecting birdies and spending time with loved ones on the 4th of July holiday. This is a beginner friendly event, and all PDGA temporary membership fees are waived for this tournament. This is a one round C-tier event with division winners receiving a trophy (there must be at least 3 competitors signed up for a division by 7/1/26 to receive a division trophy). Invite all of your friends to join us for an afternoon filled with burgers, birdies, and camaraderie! Lunch is provided by Midland Disc Golf.
What's in the players pack?
The players pack consists of a full color stamped Dynamic Discs Emac Truth, MVP Crave, and a mini.
What layouts am I playing?
A Pool (Windlands Mixed, Odds Short Even Longs): MA1, MA40, FA1, FA40
B Pool (Windlands Shorts): MA2, MA3, MA4, MA50, MA60, MA70, FA2, FA3, FA4, FA50, FA60, FA70, MJ18, FJ18

My division isn't listed on the registration page. Can I still play?
Absolutely! If your division is not listed and you would like to play, please email Katelyn Zimmer to request your division to be added.
I usually play in a professional division in PDGA sanctioned events. Can I still play?
This is an amateur-only event, however if you normally play in a professional division you may still be eligible to play. Please check the PDGA's guidelines regarding pros playing in amateur divisions to see if you qualify: https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/205

$15 Players Pack ($45 value)
$5 Ace Pot
$3 PDGA Fee
$12 to improving the course

Where are the remaining funds of this tournament being used?
All proceeds from this tournament will be donated to the Midland Disc Golf Club and the Odessa Disc Golf Association to help install new tee pads at the Midland Disc Golf Course and McKinney park. If an ace is not hit during the tournament, the ace pot money will also be donated to both clubs.
