What is the RPM Rapture Challenge?
Come try out some fresh plastic from New Zealand! Sun King is partnering with their old friends from RPM (previously known as DG Aotearoa) for some flying disc fun! Each player will choose 3 discs (driver, mid and putter) and will play one round of 18 Holes with the best scores in each division earning prizes and trophies. There will also be some bonus CTPs, a chance to test fly additional disc models on the driving range and even a putting contest on a RPM DiscMate portable target!
Flex Start
Players may start their round anytime between 9am-11am. There must be at least 3 players in a group, division does not matter.
Divisions & Entry Fee
Players may compete in one of 3 divisions; Men Advanced/Pro, Men Intermediate/Recreational or Ladies.
Entry Fee is $49 and includes 3 discs, event shirt, greens fees (a $70 value) and eligibility for the event CTPs (each division will have up to 2) and the putting contest.
Player's Pack
Each player will choose 3 RPM discs to play the tournament with. In addition, players will receive a lightweight blend t-shirt with the event artwork.
Driver - Huia (7/5/0/2) or Kiwi (10/4/0/3)
Mid-Range - Kea (4/3/0/3) or Piwakawaka (4/5/0/0)
Putter - Ruru (3/3/0/1) or (3/4/-1/0)
Bonus Disc: Players can opt in to purchase (1) additional disc at a discount during registration and add it to the player's pack, bringing their total to 4 discs to use for the tournament!
Prizes
The top players in each division will be eligible for a variety of bonus prizes including trophies. All prizes, including CTPs, will be based on event and division attendance.
