About this tournament
1 round of play
This is the second PDGA sanctioned event at Bird Bay Golf Club. Bird Bay features a Disc Golf course designed on top of the traditional golf course. The front 9 is a "links" style layout with sparse trees but plenty of hills and undulations. The back 9 has more of a traditional Disc Golf Course feel to it; woods, water and more angled shots. Carts will not be available for the tournament due to the lack of availability for all players.
All Amateur players will receive a Players Pack valued at $20 and will include (1) Prodigy Disc + Bonus Items.
Tee Assignments:
Round 1 (Updated 8/5)
All Pro Divisions play Blue Tees, Advanced & Intermediate Men will play White Tees, all other divisions will play Red Tees
Round 2
TBD based on weather.
Tee assignments take into account that this event will be in August with the expectations of heat and thunderstorms. In the event that lightning strikes prevent one of the rounds to be completed, 18 holes would be enough to score a C-Tier event.
Please be prepared to drink plenty of fluids and have extra towels! More than likely it's going to be very hot with high chances of rain in the early afternoon. There is drinking water on the course and beverages available for purchase in the pro shop, but it is advised to be self sufficient and have extra water/hydration available.
