PARKING
Please park to the right of the driveway in the large open field. This will allow other park guests to use the facilities.

We are finalizing some plans right now, but we expect to include a couple of temp holes if enough teams register.
This tournament will use the Official Rules of Disc Golf from the PDGA for play
This tournament is set up as a fundraiser to benefit the Jackson County Disc Golf Club. All proceeds will go directly to supporting disc golf in and around Jackson County Florida at Citizen's Lodge Park and another course coming this year!
Please check the schedule. We will start on time in order to beat the August heat (if that is even possible)!
We will use UDisc to keep score. Please create an account. Then open the app, select the Summer Swelter Doubles league from the events tab and then select which division you are playing in so that it will place you on the correct layout. If you cannot do this, then please use a paper card to keep score and turn those in to me after the round.
PLAYER'S PACKS + PRIZES
You may opt out of the player's pack and CTP in order to play for a trophy and donation to the club - This will save $25 per player - Simply select the "No Player's Pack" option at checkout.
MPO and FPO divisions will play for 100% payout, a CTP, and a trophy.
All Other Divisions - Player's Packs for Amateurs (including COED division): $60+ value per person

-- 2 Other discs from a selection of 5-7 MVP/Axiom molds
-- Jackson County Disc Golf Club Sticker
-- Trophies for winners of each division
-- Entry into CTP

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Divisions are restricted based on average rating of both players. The restrictions for each division are listed below. I will check and move teams as necessary, and I reserve the right to change your division to keep each division competitive and fair. Any unrated player will be considered as 850 rated for the purpose of determining division
- MA4 requires an average rating less than or equal to 850
- MA3 requires an average rating less than or equal to 900
- MA2 requires an average rating less than or equal to 950
- MA1 rating does not matter for these divisions
Need at least 3 teams per division - If you would like a division that is not available, please let me know. I will trim empty divisions based on current registration on July 1, 2023. I can still open additional divisions, however, divisions opened after July 1 will not have trophies.
LAYOUTS
Baskets will be in mixed positions depending on the weather
MA1 - Long Tees
MA2- Longs on 1, 4, 5, 6, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17 and shorts on 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, 18.
MA3- Short Tees
MA4 - The plan is for Short Tees except for holes 3, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, which will have shorter tee positions marked with flags (the tees will be natural)

REFUNDS
The Jackson County Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the PDGA refund policy 1.03 in the Competition Manual.
All withdrawals may be subject to a handling fee not to exceed $10.
Hole Sponsorships are non-refundable after signs have been printed.
Withdrawal refunds (minus handling fee)
> 30 days prior - 100%
15-29 days prior - 100% if spot is filled by someone else, otherwise, 50% or no refund if you wish to pick up your player's pack
< 14 days prior - 100% if spot is filled by someone else, otherwise, 50% or no refund if you wish to pick up your player's pack
48 hours prior - no refund, player's pack pickup available
No show - no refund, no player's pack
If a division is vacated due to lack of participation, all participants will be notified and allowed to either change divisions or receive a 100% refund with no handling fee within 72 hours of the change of division notification.
