Some things to note:

Please bring lots of water. It is going to be very hot!
Check in will start ay 7:00 am
Player's Meeting is at 8:00 am
Please watch everyone throw so that we can keep up the pace of play
I will publish starting holes tonight around 9:00 pm
We will start the round on time, so be at your tee ready to go

For MPO players, please keep in mind that winning cash in this event will make you a PRO for PDGA purposes. If you would like to keep AM status, we can payout in merchandise instead of cash, but you need to check with me before you leave.

PARKING

Please park in the large parking lot between the baseball fields and football field. The information on Udisc is accurate.


DIVISIONS

This tournament is an officially sanctioned XC tier tournament. This means that both players on a given team must meet the qualifications for their division based on PDGA guidelines. For example, if an 800 rated player and a 905 player are on the same team, they must play MA2 or above. If an am is playing with an open player, they must register in the open division. Basically, both players need to qualify for the division they are registering for.

We are finalizing some plans right now, but we may include a temp hole or two depending on the registration numbers.

This tournament will use the Official Rules of Disc Golf from the PDGA for play

This tournament is set up as a fundraiser to benefit the Jackson County Disc Golf Club a 501(c)(3) organization. All proceeds will go directly to supporting disc golf in and around Jackson County Florida at Citizen's Lodge Park and another course coming soon!

PLAYER'S PACKS + PRIZES + PAYOUT

You may opt out of the player's pack - you're basically selling your player's pack back to the club for $30 - Simply select the "No Player's Pack" option at checkout.

MPO and FPO divisions will play for 100% payout after the per player PDGA fee. Please note that if you win cash and are an amateur, this will reclassify you in the system as a professional player. You may receive merchandise instead of your payout. Please speak with me before you leave, and we will work it out.

This is a True Amateur event.

Player's Packs for Amateurs: $62 value per person
-- 1 Custom Legends Towel featuring a map of the new Legends course at the MERE OR PDGA Turtle Towel
-- 1 PDGA Stamped MVP Insanity
-- 1 PDGA Stamped Mini
-- 1 disc from our backstock of discs including custom Explore Jackson County discs (includes mostly MVP and Dynamic discs)
-- 1 PDGA hat from a selection of styles
-- Trophies for the winning teams in each division with at least 2 teams decided 2 weeks before the event (see Competition Manual for Disc Golf Events 2.06) - Final count for trophies is first and second for MPO, MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4 and first place for RAG.

You may purchase additional items (towels or discs) at the event. Custom Discs and Towels are $20, Premium plastic discs and PDGA hats are $15, PDGA Towels are $10, and base plastic is $8.


REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Need at least 2 teams per division - If you would like a division that is not available, please let me know. I will trim empty divisions based on current registration 1 week before the tournament.


LAYOUTS

MPO, MA1, MA2 - long pads (White Layout on Udisc)
All other divisions - short pads (Green Layouton Udisc)


FUNDING

This is a breakdown of the fees associated with registration as required by the PDGA. Be aware that I as a tournament director make no profit from the tournament at all. Any fees listed below that would go to a director or would profit an individual are donated directly to the Jackson County Disc Golf Club a 501(c)(3) organization.

--$3 per player PDGA fee
--$3 per player TD fee (donated directly to the Club)
--$62 per play for player's pack
--Total provided value is $68 at the minimum

Pro Value
--100% of pro entry fee will be paid out as cash after the $3 PDGA player fee

REFUNDS

The Jackson County Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the PDGA refund policy 1.03 in the Competition Manual.

All withdrawals may be subject to a handling fee not to exceed $10.

Hole Sponsorships are non-refundable after signs have been printed.

Withdrawal refunds (minus handling fee)
> 30 days prior - 100%
15-29 days prior - 100% if spot is filled by someone else, otherwise, 50% or no refund if you wish to pick up your player's pack
< 14 days prior - 100% if spot is filled by someone else, otherwise, 50% or no refund if you wish to pick up your player's pack
48 hours prior - no refund, player's pack pickup available
No show - no refund, no player's pack

If a division is vacated due to lack of participation, all participants will be notified and allowed to either change divisions or receive a 100% refund with no handling fee within 72 hours of the change of division notification.

Refund policy

Jackson County DGC is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
