The Disc Golf Dojo is in North Texas for our largest event of the year, The 6th Annual Tiger Open presented by Innova!! It is truly a pleasure to bring such a large disc golf event to my hometown and include the greater McKinney disc golf scene into the week.

As part of fundraising the event to A-Tier status we are hosting a series of Flex Start Events in McKinney the weekend prior to the main event. A portion of each flex start entry will be contributed to the Tiger Open pro payout. Players who compete in all 3 Fundraiser Flex Starts will get a Duo plastic Tiger Open disc and their name featured on a sponsor sign at the Tiger Open.

Players who compete in all 3 Fundraiser Flex Starts will get a Tiger Open stamped Innova Duo plastic Roc3, Mamba, or Thunderbird and have their name featured on an exclusive sponsor sign at the Tiger Open.



Flex Start Details

Players can tee off anytime from 7:00am-6:00pm. A minimum of 3 players is required to tee off. The following events will be offered:

- PDGA sanctioned C-Tier Singles
- Unsanctioned Doubles (Pro/Am Divisions)



Course Layout
Players will play the Tiger Open Course Layout assigned to their division.

Gold Layout - MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1
Blue tees (Long) to Gold baskets (Long).
Original Holes 13-14 and 20-21 will be combined into two par 5's. You will play hole 13's blue tee to hole 14's basket and hole 20's blue tee to hole 21's gold pin. Skip original hole 15.

White Layout - FPO, MP60, MA40, MA50, MA2
Red Tee (Short) to Gold Pin (Long) on holes 1-6,9,10,12,13,15-18.
Blue Tee (Long) to Short Basket on holes 7,8,11,14
Original Holes 13-14 and 20-21 will be combined into two par 5's. You will play hole 13's Red tee to hole 14's basket and hole 20's Red tee to hole 21's gold pin. Skip original hole 15.

Green Layout - FA1, FA2, FA40+, MA60+, MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4
Red Tee (Short) to Short Pin - 1,4-7,9,10-12,15-18
Red Tee (Short) to Gold Pin (Long) - 2,3,8,13,
Blue Tee - 14
Hole 13 will play to the long pin of the original hole, not hole 14's basket. Hole 18 will play as original hole 21 Red to Short. Skip original 14,15,20.

Registration & Payment

THIS IS NOT A $0 ENTRY EVENT! In an effort to save players the fees associated with payment through Disc Golf Scene, all entry fees will be paid at the course at check in. We accept payments in cash, card, Venmo, and Paypal. Please do not attempt to send funds digitally until you are at the course and check in at tournament central.

Online registration is required. If you show up to the course without having registered online then you will be directed to Disc Golf Scene before being able to check in. This method benefits players by saving any fees associated with Disc Golf Scene and Paypal while helping us ensure that we have accurate emails, pdga numbers, and spelling for all players.

Players who are not current PDGA members will pay their temporary membership fee online when registering through disc golf scene. This is not optional for players who do not have a current PDGA membership.



Pre-Registration CTP's
Register online or on site. Online Preregistration is preferred and will enter you to compete for 4 CTP holes if done by 8pm the evening before the event! If you are registering a doubles team please include both players names in the "Name" line item.



Doubles
Doubles is unsanctioned. Teams will play best shot doubles. We will be using the official PDGA rules. Extra throws will count as practice shots which will count against your total score. Doubles teams can play with 3 singles players if there isn't another doubles team within a reasonable amount of time.

Ace Pot Policy
The Disc Golf Dojo North Texas Flex Start Ace Pot is in play for this event. All ace pot entries collected will be added to the rolling ace pot total. Singles and Doubles ace pots are separate. The ace pots for this event are currently at:

Singles: TBD after the Town Lake Fundraiser Flex
Doubles: TBD after the Town Lake Fundraiser Flex

Ace Pots cap at $500 until we have a $250 backup. Then they cap at $750 until we have a $500 backup. Then they cap at $1000 indefinitely.


Flex Start Payout
Pro divisions will payout in cash via PayPal. Players can expect to receive funds digitally no later than the Monday following the event at 6pm.

Amateur players are awarded merchandise credit redeemable at the on-site Disc Golf Dojo pro shop. Payout will be awarded once all players in a division have finished their rounds. Players are welcome to spend payout on the day of the event after their division has completed play, at any other Disc Golf Dojo event, or at our Clubhouse in Van Buren, AR. We do not currently have an online store but are working on that and expect one to be operational by the end of the year.

Am payout will expire 2 years after it is awarded. Credit awarded at this event is valid through June 20th, 2028.

The Disc Golf Dojo is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
