This is a fun doubles event to kick off The Rip on The Rock event : https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournament/St_Johns_Rip_on_The_Rock_2026
Setup: 3 baskets, ball tee, 2-3 softballs, gloves, discs.
Rules:
Dubs event, 2 innings (two at bats each, everyone else on defense)
Batter hits ball off tee, throws disc to make putt to 1st base, the batter runner can continue to each base after making a succesful putt at the previous base. Once a batter runner commits to throwing to the next base, they must complete the base before the defense to get credit for any point. Home run if made from batters box. Get a point for each base made. 1 for single, 3 for double, 6 for triple, 10 for Homer.
Fielder tries to catch ball for out or once collects ball, then throws disc the basket the hitter has selected to try to get out. 3 outs per inning at bat. Fielders have to always try for 1st base, playing from the lie of each throw. After completing a successful putt at first base they can play catch to the next base if the batter runner is attempting more than a single.
Most points after 2 at bats each wins
Rules and play will be discussed prior to the game starting.
Players will be required to bring 2 putters and a glove if possible
