About this tournament

Hello and Welcome to the First Annual Spring Valley Open!

PLEASE NOTE THAT TOURNAMENT CENTRAL WILL BE LOCATED NEAR THE WATER TOWER!

This event is an two round of 24 holes PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier at Spring Valley Park Park.

Registration closes 9/27 at 10pm EST. At that time all players on the waitlist will receive full refunds. No new players will be allowed to register after registration closes.

Withdrawals and Refunds will be handled according to the PDGA rules. See rules in this link https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103

All refunds will be assessed a $10 handling fee.

Player Meeting will be sent out via email after registration closes. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY!

Player pack will be an artist series buzzz!

Payouts will be provided by greatlakesdisc.com. Payout vouchers will be emailed out by the end of the day Monday following the event.

Cash Payouts for Pros will be sent via PayPal by the end of the day Monday after the event.

There is an optional $5 50/50 and an optional $5 Ace Pool. If nobody hits an ace during play we will hold a CTP throw to determine a winner.

Trophy:
- Bag Tag trophy available for all divisions for 1st place and infinity trophy that will remain with the club that will have the overall winning score from MA1 and MPO published on it.

PLEASE BE AWARE! This event is changing the course you used to know and make it challenging with additional OB throughout the course. This OB does NOT affect every division. Please check the caddy book for more detailed layout images and descriptions.

OBs & Mandos:
- On or over any pavement or sidewalk is considered OB

- Hole 1: Outside the painted square in the tennis courts are considered OB and proceed to the drop zone after their first time going OB. Any time a player goes OB play where they were last in bounds. There is NO mando for entering the tennis court.
- Hole 2: On or over road left and beyond the basket or sidewalk right is OB. Shots that do not leave the tennis courts must retee with a one stroke penalty. There is no mando on this hole.
- Hole 4: On or over road is OB
- Hole 5: On or over road is OB
- Hole 6: On or over road is OB
- Hole 7: On or over sidewalk on left of fairway is OB, discs that land in the water but do not cross in bounds will re-tee. If your disc lands in the water but you crossed land, then you take it where it last was in bounds.
- Hole 8: On or over road right or sidewalk left is OB. For the longs, you are throwing a tee shot from OB, you must cross the sidewalk in front of the teepad to be in bounds. Those that fail to do so must re-tee with a 1 stroke penalty.
- Hole 9: On or over road is OB
- Hole 10: On or over road is OB
- Hole 11: Over fence long of basket is OB
- Hole 12: Playground and cemented bathrooms are OB
- Hole 15: Over fence right side of fairway is OB
- Hole 16: On or over road is OB
- Hole 17: Sidewalk and Road play as a river OB.
- Hole 18: Road plays as a river OB. (This is not an island hole)
- Hole 19: The Ice Rink, sidewalk on or over and road on and over is OB
- Hole 20: The road on or over is OB
- Hole 21: The road on or over is OB
- Hole 22: On or over sidewalk on left is OB
- Hole 23: On or over sidewalk is OB. Dirt parking lot is OB
- Hole 24: Mando Right of Wooden Posts to protect Parking Lot. All missed mando shots proceed to the drop zone with a 1 stoke penalty. On dirt parking lot is OB.
