The Spring Thaw event will be a random doubles format played with only a putter (which will be provided). The age limit is 13+ and minors will need a parent present to compete. The MVCC disc golf course is 9 holes which will also feature alternate tee pads to make an 18 hole layout. Teams will play two 18 hole rounds. The first round will be best shot/disc. The teams will then be placed in brackets and proceed to the next round. The second round will be alternate shots with each teammate rotating driving odd and even holes then alternating shots till the hole is completed.

The Spring Thaw is a non sanctioned disc golf tournament to support the King’s Table ministry. The King’s Table is a ministry that assist a local elementary schools with providing food for children who have food insecurity. Food insecurity is defined as a lack of consistent access to enough food for every person in a household to live an active, healthy life.

A portion of all entry fees and discs sold at the event will go directly to the King’s Table to allow them to continue the fight against hunger that affects children in our local community.

Weather Policy
Event will be played rain or shine. Inclement weather will be cause for postponing to following weekend.

Mountain View Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. A full refund will be given for any player withdrawing before March 28th the Monday before the tournament.
