__CHAINS AND GRAINS SPACE RACE REGISTRATION PAGE__

Hello, you have reached the Disc Golf Scene Registration page for the Space Race at Chains and Grains.

I started Chains and Grains because I love playing disc golf and I love brewing beer. Through the disc golf and the homebrew communities I have met tons of awesome people so I figured I should create an event that could bring all these people together. This event started as one day where we had a disc golf tournament that was followed by a small beer festival where everyone tried the different homebrew's and voted for their favorites. We have now expanded to 3 days with multiple events and just tons of fun to be had. Since this is the Space Race page I am just going to include that information below.

Friday 10/11

Initial Set up: Starting at Noon we will be getting things set up at the course so feel free to come help. If you plan to camp this is a good time to come out and pick a campsite and check out the layout we are setting up for the Space Race.

Space Race: If you have not heard of the Space Race, It is an event put on by MVP. Each player will receive a players pack which will consist of an Axiom Total Eclipse Crave and a Streamline Eclipse Range, these discs will be the only ones you use during the tournament. We will be setting up an 18 hole course around the camping area. All of the holes will range between 100 and 250 feet. The holes will be shorter because the scores are based on a point system not how many shots you take. Each player has two throws per hole and players earn one point for metal, three points for a chain hit and five points per ace – most cumulative points wins. This will be a two round event, first being right before dark and the second being after dark. Since the players are only throwing off the tee and the holes are shorter the rounds will be quite quick. We will have some MVP discs to give away as prizes.
