About this tournament
1 round of play
Welcome to the Space Race! This event is similar to the Circuit Challenge we had a few months ago but has a higher focus on Ace runs and shorter holes, it is also held at night for some fun glow throws!
Entry gets you two glow discs and you use those for your round. One is a particle eclipse Crave (Fairway) and the other disc is a Eclipse (maybe particle?) Atom (Putter).
Rather than scoring normally, this Space Race will use the following special rules for scoring to encourage fun ace runs and a casual vibe:
Throw both discs off the tee.
Aces are 5 points, chain hits are 3 points and hitting metal is 1 point.
Both throws are eligible for points.
After everyone tees off with both discs, you play from your better lie similar to best shot doubles. If you birdie the hole (or Ace it!), that is worth 1 point.
Keep track of how many points you score from Aces, chain hits and metal hits (off tee only) and points for birdies. The highest score wins.
Each hole will have a free CTP featuring a lab second disc from MVP. There will be different divisions you can enter and the best score from each division will win a small 3D printed trophy and a free disc.
