About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to the South Valley Junior Championship at Clearwater Park DGC in Springfield, OR!
All players will receive a player's pack which will include:
- 1 Disc
- Mini Disc
- Towel
- Snacks
Check-in will be at tournament central by, hole #1.
We will need parent/guardian volunteers to keep score for each of the groups.
This is a trophy only event - with trophies for 1st place in each division.
Each division will have closest to the pole holes (CTP's) where players can win prizes.
Ace Pot:
Paying into the Ace Pot is optional. If an ace is hit during the tournament - the pot will go towards the player who hit the ace, if they paid into the Ace Pot. If multiple aces are hit, the ace pot will be split between the players who paid into the Ace Pot. If no ace is hit, the funds will go towards the Eugene Disc Golf Club's Junior Fund.
Fundraiser Donations:
During the registration process - you can opt to add a donation to our Eugene Disc Golf Club's Junior Fund. Any donations are appreciated!!
1st Round
All players will play 1 round of 18 holes =18 holes (the first 9 holes will be the short hole positions, the second 9 holes will be the long hole positions).
Lunch Break
Lunch will be available for players after the first round - and will include hot dogs, veggie dogs, drinks, & snacks.
During the lunch break, players will eat and play a Fast Putting Contest; prizes available for winners in each division.
2nd Round
6 - 12 yr divisions will play the final 9 holes in the short positions.
15 - 18 yr divisions will play the final 9 holes in the long positions.
After the 2nd round, trophies will be given to 1st place in each division and prizes will be given to CTP winners.
Point Series
This event is part of the 2026 PNW Juniors Series! Each event players will be awarded points based on finish position as follows:
1st place - 10 points
2nd place - 9 points
3rd place - 8 points
4th place - 7 points
5th place - 6 points
6th place - 5 points
7th place - 4 points
8th place - 3 points
9th place - 2 points
10th-99th place - 1 point
Top 4 finishes will count toward a player's cumulative series points. Players who play in at least 2 events will qualify for the series. Players will compete in one age-protected division across the series.
