Tee times have been posted on the PDGA event page at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/46214. If you NEED to change your tee time please let me know ASAP and I will do what I can. The longer you wait the less likely it becomes that I can conveniently change anything. Reasons for needing a change would almost exclusively involve either travel or work- desire to play with so and so not so much.
Raptor’s Roost address is 1944 Shenandoah Crossing Drive Gordonsville VA. Do NOT let nav steer you down Old CC Rd- the appropriate turn is on Forest Hill. When you approach the gate give your name and tell them you are there for disc golf. It is about 2 miles from the gate to the course so have patience. Please obey posted speed limits through the resort and the community. There will be children playing.
Please check in for your round a minimum of 15 minutes in advance. Please try not to arrive more than 45 minutes prior to your round and please try to leave within a half hour after your round. Check in will be on the deck at the rear of the clubhouse. The pro shop will be open- masks preferred and no more than 3 shoppers at a time. The Par 2 course and the driving range will be available for warmup.
We will be using PDGA live scoring for the event. To keep score go to pdga.com/score and use the code “toss”. It really is easy and makes the life of your staff much easier as well. There will be paper cards available as backup.
Pro divisions, MA1, MA40, and MA2 will be playing Blue Tees to Red Baskets. All other divisions will be playing White Tees to Red Baskets. All layouts are available on U-disc.
Social distancing remains in effect. Keep 6 feet away from others. Don’t touch other people’s stuff. Remove discs from the basket before other players putt.
It is going to be hot. The course is a long walk. Be sure to arrive hydrated and carry water. There will be water on the course as well but that is meant to supplement your own, not be a be all end all.
