About this tournament

We've partnered up with Dorchester Parks and Rec to put on a free pop up tournament at Snow's Turn Park in Cambridge Md on November 18th. Our plan for the park is to build a permanent disc golf course in the future. This gives us a chance to test out the course and see how it plays out. If you're not sure where to sign up, or are unfamiliar with Disc Golf Scene, shoot me an email at [email redacted] and we'll get you signed up in the right division for your skill set.

Walk-ups and casual players are highly encouraged to play. This is a great way to get introduced into the exciting world of competitive disc golf. This will be a 2 round event to test out 2 out of the 4 potential layouts. We'll be playing the long to short layout on the first round, and short to short layout on the second round. UDisc is recommended to keep score with 2 score-keepers per card. If anyone can't access UDisc, paper scorecards will be provided.

Donations are welcome and will go towards helping Dorchester Parks and Recreation build a new permanent course. Any donated discs and disc golf equipment will be distributed as prizes. I would recommend bringing lunch, although there are some places to stop for food nearby we'd like to keep things moving along.

You won't want to miss this one, this is going to be a really fun time and we'd like to get some feedback on the course layout. Special thank you goes out to Duc from Dorchester Parks and Rec, and Jamie Lane for helping to make this happen. We couldn't be more excited! Thank you for the support, we hope to see you out there!

Don't forget to check us out at www.offcoursediscgolf.com for your local disc golf needs. We do course designs, host events, give beginners lessons, and run a small disc golf store online.
