About this tournament

This will be a fun, PDGA unsanctioned round to get some new discs and try out new layouts at Provo's trickiest course. Let's get people excited about Slate Canyon again. This is a "friends, and friends-of-friends" Replay tournament to keep things fun and not too big. 15 players minimum, 30 maximum.

PLEASE READ:
- a Udisc account is REQUIRED, free to make. We'll organize the scores and cards on there, as well as have each player individually check in for each round, but only one person per card of four (4) needs to keep track during the round.
- The costs for this event are minimal- exactly the cost of the player packs ($35.00). All setup and prizes that aren't included with the order are a result of volunteering and donations.
- The scores will be cumulative, combining the doubles and the singles rounds. You'll only be competing for prizes against others within your division, and your doubles partner doesn't have to be in your division but it is recommended. For example, if John and Jane score -5 together in Doubles, John gets +2 and Jane gets -1 in Singles, their ending scores would be -3 and -6. It's in your interest to select a competitive partner.
- Since this is not a public tournament, and to avoid further costs and hassle, we are NOT reserving the course. Not many people currently play it, so we will need to let smaller casual groups play through. We'll show up and hope for the best. I will put up a sign saying "Tournament today" but we can't close it to others.
- You don't need to have your doubles partner picked out ahead of time, we can assign the remaining partnerships at the start of the event. But if you have an idea of who you want to play with ahead of time, please provide their name so we can loosely plan who else to partner up.

There will be a caddy book and video walkthrough published later this month or early July, stay tuned!
