About this tournament
INVITATION-ONLY ACE CHALLENGE! All you need is a female player to invite you; see below!
We're bringing a fresh feel to the world of women's disc golf by introducing a brand new concept this year: Sadie Hawkins Tournaments! Each event combo in the series will feature the Main Event: a women's-only, PDGA-sanctioned tournament consisting of 1-3 rounds, as well as a women's-choice-invitation-only "Ace Challenge Dance". Invitees will have the opportunity to buy-in to the dance at $5/throw (minimum 3 throws), with a maximum of 18 total throws. You will get to throw up to 3 throws one after the other and attempt to hit an ace on the practice basket from a designated tee box (women appx 200 ft and men appx 300 ft away). We'll let about 5 or so people throw out, collect their discs, and then get back in line if they still have remaining throws.
Each event combo will also be high-school-dance-themed and feature an optional commemorative tournament jersey courtesy of Kolorful Kylorado and designed specifically to fit the theme. Eligible players may register for the women's tournament at will, but any player wishing to receive entry into the "Ace Challenge Dance" MUST receive a by-name invitation from a Main Event player and register for the dance separately. Main Event players automatically receive an invitation to the dance, but will still need to register separately for accounting purposes.
Ace Pot Payout:
10% - Donated to Kolorful Kylorado to keep these events coming
90% - Payout to winner(s)
If multiple aces are hit, the pot is evenly distributed based on aces, not people. Breakdown is as follows: Person A and Person B each hit one ace, they each receive 45% of the total ace pot. Person A hits two aces and Person B hits one ace, they receive 60% and 30% of the total ace pot, respectively. So on and so forth. If no aces are hit, the pot rolls over to the next event!
