The Vintage Open is back and bringing Russellville disc golf back to the main stage! Formerly a DGPT Silver Series event, the Vintage Open was once the crowned Jewel of River Valley Disc Golf. Now, the River Valley DGC is bringing this legacy event back to Arkansas featuring 2 of the best courses in the state, Old Post and Pleasant View! With the blessing of TD Justin Myrick we are proud to present The Vintage Open once again!

This is a 2 day, 3 round PDGA sanctioned B Tier disc golf tournament on April 25-26th in Russellville, Arkansas. Players must have a current PDGA membership to compete.

Course Schedule
Saturday will feature 2 rounds, 1 at each course for all players. Both rounds will be shotgun start.


A Pool - MPO, FPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, MP70, MA1
Saturday - Old Post Regular - Pleasant View

B Pool - All divisions not listed above.
Saturday - Pleasant View - Old Post Regular


Sunday all players will play Old Post and will be assigned a tee time.
MPO, MP40, MP50, & MA1 will play the Gold Layout at Old Post for the final round on Sunday. All other divisions will play the standard course layout.

Awards & Payout
Trophies will be awarded to the first place finisher in divisions with 3 or more players registered by 4/19.

Payout will be awarded to the top 45% of each Am division and 40% of Pro divisions using the PDGA payout scale. Pro divisions will be paid digitally no later than 6pm on the Monday following the event. MA4/FA4 Divisions are trophy only. All other amateur players will win a merchandise credit to The on-site Disc Golf Dojo proshop.

Payout will be available and published to Disc Golf Scene and visible on the PDGA Digital Scorecard once all players have completed their rounds. Payout can be redeemed the day of the event, at any future Disc Golf Dojo event, or at the Disc Golf Dojo clubhouse in Van Buren, AR located at 1301 City Park Rd. Follow us on Disc Golf Scene and get notified where we are each weekend.

Am payout will expire 2 years after the date it is awarded. Pro payout will be sent via PayPal no later than 48 hours after the completion of the event.

Ace Pot
There is an optional $5 entry into the ace pot. If a player hits a hole in 1 then they will win the pot. The ace pot will be split by pool only for day 2 as each pool will play separate layouts that day. If no aces are hit then the collected ace pot money will be donated to NovaStar Animal Rescue There will be no ace pot throwoff if no aces are hit.


Players Party
Thanks to our title sponsor, Jackalope Cycling, all players will receive free entry to the downtown Russellville block party on Saturday night! There will be live music, disc golf games, and more for you to enjoy here in Russellville!

Tee Times & Event Schedule

Saturday
Player check in begins at 8am at your starting course.

Round 1 starts at 9am - Players need to be at their starting hole and ready to play at that time!!

There will be no players meeting. An email will be sent out to player on Thursday evening that will act as your virtual players meeting. Please read that email thoroughly and ask any questions that you may have prior to tee off.

Round 2 - Starting time will be published once all players have finished round 1 in your pool. There will be an approximate 1.25 hour break from the time the last card finishes and the start of round 2

Saturday night - Players party in Downtown Russellville

Tournament players will get free entry to the outdoor concert at Handlebar Downtown on Saturday Night! Little Buffalo River will be performing starting at 8pm! The entire block will be closed off as an entertainment district. Check out Handlebardowntown.com for more details.

Sunday - Tee Times for all players at Old Post
Players will tee starting on hole 1 at their assigned tee time. Tee times will be published Saturday evening once all players have completed round 2 of competition.
