This tournament is designed to be a season opening tournament for the Rocky Mountain Conference West Collegiate teams. That being said, there are spots available for non-collegiate players to come and compete and try out the collegiate tournament format!
This is a teams event. Men's teams consist of 4 players. Women's teams consist of 2 players. Male collegiate and non-collegiate teams will be competing against each other and Female collegiate and non-collegiate teams will be competing against each other.
Round 1 of this event will be a singles round (rated round). For tournament scoring, your teams singles round will be averaged to a single team score.
Round 2 of this event will follow the collegiate teams format (rules explained here https://collegediscgolf.com/rules/) (this will be a unrated round).
The team with the best score across the two rounds wins.
There will be no payouts for this event, but registrants will receive a player's pack. The player's pack consist of a Viking Discs Loki (4/2/0/4) in premium plastic (Storm or Armor). In addition to player's packs, winner of the men's division and women's divisions will receive a prize and there will be some Closest to Pin (CTP) competitions for prizes as well. These prizes will consist of discs and items donated from local companies.
For registration, Male teams will use the MA1 division, Female teams will use the FA1 division. Please have a single player of your team complete the registration for the entire team opposed to each individual registering personally.
