The Port Jervis Disc Golf Club would like to invite you to the Riverside Rambler, the 1st Annual Bag Tag Challenge Tournament. The 2023 PJDGC Bag Tag Challenge will be held on Sunday June 25, 2023 and is an unsanctioned event.
This is a club fundraiser event with 2023 bag tags issued based on finishing score. All women competitors will get two bag tags -- our standard member tag as well as a ladies tag. Participating in this event will also make you an official member of the Port Jervis Disc Golf Club. All skill levels welcome and the number one rules is to have fun!
If you’re new to the community, it's a great time to join our club and see what we're all about. Help us grow and make this first disc golf course in Port Jervis successful. The success of this course will determine if we are able to build an 18 hole epic course in the Watershed Area.
Registration
-We will use Disc Golf Scene for pre-registration
-If you are only purchasing a 2023 bag tag and not playing in the event, select "tag" and the lowest available tag number will be awarded after the event.
-The cost to participate in the event will be $40 + fees
-Players will have an option to buy into an Ace Pool, if there is no winners during the event these monies will rollover into the weekly tag matches. Multiple winners will split the pot.
-Registration OPENS Saturday May 27 at 9:00 am.
-CLOSES at a player cap of 45 or on June 23. at 5:00 PM EST.
-Event check in will be from 10-10:30 am in the Disc Golf Parking Lot. Please Park in the marked parking area and leave the disc lot clear.
-This event will have a shotgun start and players will be directed to their starting holes by 11 am.
-If we do not sell out, limited slots may be available on the day of the event on a cash only basis.
All groups will be maxed at 5 players.
Prizes
--There will be small prizes awarded to the following divisions. Divisions 2/3 will be combined.
-Mixed Amateur 1 Throw 300-450 feet, make 5-7/10 putts from 25-30 feet, have different shots in their arsenal.
-Mixed Amateur 2/3 Throws 200-350 feet, make 4-7/10 putts from 20 feet. learning different shots.
-Mixed Amateur 4 For beginning and casual players who are learning basic Frisbee® and disc golf skills.
-Women's Amateur 1 Throw 200-300 feet, make 4-6/10 putts from 25-30 feet, developing different shots.
-Women's Amateur 2/3 Throw 125-200 feet, make 3-5/10 putts from 20 feet, can throw backhand with some accuracy.
-Women's Amateur 4 For beginning and casual players who are learning basic Frisbee® and disc golf skills.
--Also, prizes will be awarded to the player with the Closest to the Pin on a selected hole the day of the event.

Refund policy
This fundraising, bag tag event will not issue refunds or take cancellations unless there is an extreme weather event. Other circumstances will be review on a per case basis.
