About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to the first annual Real Wild and Woody Beer Fest and Disc Golf event, aka Brewers Cup, where high altitude physics meets the craft culture of the high desert. Hosted at the legendary Arizona Snowbowl, this isn't just a tournament—it’s a test of mettle, oxygen levels, and touch.
We’ve partnered with the Arizona Brewers Guild to bring the "Dirty Hucker" lifestyle to the summit. Whether you’re a local stick or traveling from the valley to escape the heat, prepare for a weekend of elite competition and mountain-top celebration.
THE FORMAT: Singles
THE CHALLENGE: 9,500 FEET OF STABILITY
Playing at Snowbowl is a different beast. In the thin air of the San Francisco Peaks, your plastic behaves differently. On these extreme elevation drops, remember the math:
{Lower Air Density} = {Less Lift} + {More Overstable Flight}
The Birdogie crew will be out in force, ensuring the course is dialed and the vibes are high. We play hard, we play by PDGA Standards, and we represent the grit of the Flagstaff disc golf scene.
THE EXPERIENCE: MORE THAN JUST A ROUND
We believe a tournament should be an event, not just a scorecard. Your entry isn't just a pass to the fairways; it's a golden ticket to the best of Northern Arizona:
The Beer Fest: Free entry to the Real Wild and Woody Beer Fest—the premier celebration of Arizona's craft brewing industry, curated by the Arizona Brewers Guild.
The Lift: Take a breather with a free ride on the Arizona Snowbowl Scenic Gondola to witness the best views in the state.
The Goods: Complimentary beer tickets to toast your birdies (or drown your bogeys) while you enjoy the festival vibes.
POWERED BY OUR PARTNERS
This event is fueled by the community and our commitment to the mountain. We are proud to work alongside Arizona Snowbowl for providing the ultimate high-altitude playground and Nackard Pepsi for keeping the Dirty Hucker Nation refreshed and hydrated in the thin air. Together with the Arizona Brewers Guild, we’re making sure this inaugural cup is one for the history books.

Play smart. Read the altitude disclaimer below, please.
Disclaimer: Competing in a disc golf event at high altitude at the Arizona Snow Bowl Disc Golf Course in Flagstaff, Arizona may involve additional risks. Participants should:
- Stay hydrated and monitor for signs of altitude sickness, as the thin air and desert climate can cause dehydration and hypoxia.
- Allow extra time for warm‑up and adjust throwing technique due to reduced air density, which affects disc flight.
- Protect yourself from intense sun exposure and temperature swings by using sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and eye protection.
By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take appropriate precautions.
