About this tournament

May 3 - 4, 2025

3 rounds of play at some of Polk County’s best courses! Competitors will play two rounds Saturday with shotgun starts at 8 AM and (estimated) 1 PM. Sunday will be tee times at your finishing course with times posted on the events PDGA page. Your course schedule will depend on your pool assignment. Please review the ‘Pictures’ section of this registration page to review your course and pad assignments.

Schedule, course and layouts are subject to change at TD discretion.

PCCO is in partnership with One More Child and $4 from each player registration will be donated to fight human trafficking in Florida. Other opportunities to donate will be available during the tournament.

PDGA B-Tier for Amateur players with True Amateur Format.

This year's players pack will include a custom tournament metal mini by DirtyBirdie, a custom course towel by Grumpy Goat Disc Golf and a $10 voucher to LeRoy's Bikeworks. Any registration after 4/19/25 may be subject to an alternative players pack of the same value pending availability.

Trophies will be awarded for divisions with a minimum of 5 players in the division. Divisions with 5 -10 players will have a 1st place trophy. Divisions with 11-25 players will have both 1st and 2nd place trophies. Divisions with 26+ players will be awarded 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place trophies.

Any first place tie will result in a sudden death playoff that will be played indefinitely until the tie is resolved.

All other ties for trophy positions will result in a sudden death playoff that will be played on holes 1,2 and 3 of the respective courses. Should this not resolve the tie, CTP on hole 3 will be used to determine who is awarded the trophy.

Virtual players’ meeting will be posted on the Bearded Builder Events Facebook page and a link will be emailed. Early check-in will be available Friday, May 2nd with details to come. Your player’s pack will also be available for pick up day of event at your starting courses tournament central.

Per PDGA guidelines, we will be using the PDGA Ratings Update published on April 8th to determine division eligibility. At this time, any adjustments to players division and pool will be made on this day and notification will be sent via email to any impacted players. This will also allow any additional spots that are open to allow for these changes to be released to the waitlist.

EVENT REGISTRATION CLOSURE

Event registration will close Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025.

OFFICIAL REFUND POLICY:
All refund requests are subject to a $5 handling fee per PDGA rules.

Early Registration fee of $30 is non refundable.

All drop requests prior to 4/23/2025 will be given 100% monetary refund (minus $5 handling fee).

All drop requests after 4/23/2025 will be given 100% monetary refund (minus a $5 handling fee) ONLY if there is a replacement player on the waitlist. Should a player not be backfilled from the waitlist, the player will not be refunded and will need to make arrangements to pick up his or her player’s pack or pay for the shipping. Shipping amounts will be requested via PayPal and must be fulfilled before shipment. All shipments will be completed AFTER the event has concluded.

All arrangements for player’s packs must be made within 30 days of tournament completion; otherwise, your player’s pack will be forfeited.

All players on the waitlist will be refunded in full on Monday 5/5/2025.

There is no payout for Am divisions.

Refund policy

Bearded Builder Events Inc. is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. All withdraws will be handled in accordance with PDGA Competition Manual 1.03 Withdrawals and Refunds. In all applicable areas where a handling fee is noted, Bearded Builder Events reserves the right to retain $5 from each withdraw as a handling fee per PDGA rules
