About this tournament
TOURNAMENT IS CANCELED. ALL REFUNDS WILL BE SENT OUT TODAY, 2/18.
Due to lack of interest/registration I am having to cancel this tournament. To get anywhere close to what I was hoping for, I would have had to come out of pocket for way too much. Really a shame. Was really going to be a blast. Maybe we will try again in the future will a lot lower payout, and a lower entry fee.
Arizona MA3/FA3 Champions Cup
Estimated Payouts if tournament fills
(Split between MA3/FA3 in proportion to field size)
1st: $2,000 (cash/goods)
2nd: $1,000 (cash/goods)
3rd: $250 (cash/goods)
4th: $125 (cash/goods)
5th: $75 (cash/goods)
Obviously if it does not fill, payouts will be in proportion to the size of the field.
This is going to be a MA3/FA3 only tournament.
What I can only assume will be the largest MA3/FA3 payout in the state.
Fun layout with added obstacles, island holes and mandos.
Will lunch be provided?
Will beer be provided?
Will the ace pot be included with registration?
Yes it will be
That means big cash and prizes to the top spots, especially the winner. That’s right, MA3/FA3 cash. (Don’t worry, it won’t affect your amateur status with the PDGA).
All that means this tournament is unsanctioned. But in order to ensure fair play, and that players with a higher skill set don’t come in and sandbag for the payout, you will be required to have a PDGA number and rating within MA3/FA3 standards or below. You also had to have played at least a couple tournaments within that rating.
If you have any doubts about if you would qualify, please comment or send an email with your PDGA number BEFORE YOU SIGN UP, and I will verify. If you register and you don’t meet the qualifications, I will refund your money(minus the DGS/Paypal fees) and remove you from the tournament. I will verify every players PDGA number as they register.
