PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier Singles - the last sanctioned tournament @ PR until September!
Hello and welcome to our 5th Annual Persimmon Ridge Beat The Heat! This is a 1 round event consisting of 21 holes for all divisions. With an early start & finish to beat the heat!
Course of Play: All divisions will play their respective Championship 18 hole course with an additional 3 holes (from Fun Chillow) added throughout the Champ course (see below)
ALL PRO & MA1 - Gold Championship Course Holes with an additional 3 holes through the Champ course - see below
(NOTE: #7 will be played from the Gold Tee and is a par 4)
MA2 & AM Age Protected - 18 Blue Championship Course Holes with an additional 3 holes throughout the Champ course -see below.
ALL OTHER DIVISIONS - 18 RED Championship Holes with an additional 3 holes throughout the Champ course -see below.
ADDITIONAL HOLES will be played after the "Championship course" matching number. (For example after you play Championship hole # 2, you move to hole # 2B, then back to Championship hole #3, and so on). Additional holes are from the FUN CHILLOW course, and are "along the way"!
5B = Fun Chillow 12
8B = Fun Chillow 9 (Short Pad for everyone)
17 B = Fun Chillow 4 (Short Pad for everyone)
EXTRA PRIZES: Included in your entry fee is the chance at $100 in store credit for an ace, prize for any "bogey free round" - and MFP prizes (Most Fun Player) not to mention FREE POPCICLES during & after the round!
Payout:
ALL PRO/OPEN divisions will pay top 40% through the PayPal account used for registration within 48 hours of event end.
MA/FA-1, MA/FA-2, MA/FA-3 and AM Age Protected divisions: will pay out the top 45% in each division through the Persimmon Ridge Pro shop.
Juniors and Novice (MA/FA-4) play for a PR Prize (no Payout).
We request a minimum of 3 players per division. If there are not 3 players in your division you will be given the option to change divisions or a refund.
All players under 13 years old must be accompanied by a chaperone at all times!
$8 from the tournament fee will go towards course fees ($5) & PDGA sanctioning fees ($3)
All amateur divisions will receive a $20 Persimmon Ridge Pro Shop Voucher to "build your own player pack" upon Saturday morning check in. There are many items available in our huge pro shop. Plus, this player pack can also be used towards other course offerings. Feel free to contact Persimmon Ridge regarding these specific offerings. "Player pack voucher" must be used by event end.

Refund policy
www.persimmonridgeresort.com is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Cancellations more than 3 days in advance from the event will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee. Cancellations under 3 days from the tournament date will receive a 75% refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee. If you fail to contact us to cancel your spot prior to the start of the event, you will forfeit your entry fee for that event. No player's packages will be given to non-competitors in lieu of entry fees or store credit.
