About this tournament
1 round of play
THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD ON THE HARP HOLLOWS CHAMPIONSHIP TEMP LAYOUT. This course utilizes a different part of the Marion/Crittenden County Park Complex than the permanent course.
Do you have 600 ft of internet distance? Have you never met a Par 5 you couldn't Eagle? Do you find yourself constantly complaining about courses not having enough space to let you really open up and let it fly? Do you announce to everyone on your card that you're teeing off with a putter? Do you constantly overpower your Destroyers and flip them into rollers? Are regular park courses just too short and easy for you? Then have we got a course for you!
The Championship Long Tees for the Harp Hollows layout is over 12'000 feet in length and one of, if not the, longest 18 hole course layouts in the state. A mix of heavily wooded, wide open bomber holes, elevation change, and technical greens. There are Short Tees for the lower division AMs and Age Protected Divisions.
This will be a 1-Round Flex start. Pick your tee time when you register. Please no more than 5 on a card and no less than 3. Different divisions are allowed on the same card but prefer, if possible, you are at least playing from the same tees, but not necessary.
Pool A - Championship Long Tees
MPO, MP40, MP50, MA40, MA1, MA2
Pool B - Recreational Short Tees
MA50, MA60, MA3, MA4 and all Female Pro, all Female AM, and all Junior divisions
PLAYER'S PACKS/PAYOUTS
As the title suggests, Only Winners Get Sprinkles. I've listened to the complaints about high entry fees and massive player packs and decided to give the opposite a shot, low entry fee, small player pack. Each Am will receive one stock stamp disc for entering. This is a trophy only event for AMS in divisions with 3 or more competitors (Although there will be some added swag to 1st-3rd place in divisions with 3 or more, More players, more swag gets added to that division). 1st place Trophy will be mailed/delivered/pick-up by winners after event (since it is a flex event).
Pros will receive payout via PayPal no later than the Monday morning following the event. (Be sure to leave me your PayPal information or it will take longer to get you your payout). Pro Payout will be 100% of entry fees, plus any added sponsor cash, minus $2 PDGA fee.
*Course will be in place and open for practice rounds the weekend prior to event (Saturday and Sunday) and both layouts on U-Disc. The course utilizes a few temp baskets and they will be removed at dark each evening to prevent theft and/or vandalism and placed back out by 8 AM the following morning. Course will not be available during the week prior to the event and will be set back up the Friday prior to the event. Hole 1 and the Back 9 are playable during the week, Holes 2-9 are not. So keep that in mind if you plan to practice this course.
