How much: $10 per person
What time: Players meeting @9:30 am. Shotgun start @ 10 am.
Why: Trying to raise money to bring Steve Moore home so he can be comfortable and be surrounded by familiarity for his last days.
Hello disc golf (and non-disc golf) family. I will be putting on a fundraiser on Sunday, May 14th to try to get Steve home. We will be playing ONE round of Random doubles for the trophies (CTP prizes will also be given out at this time). Sick trophies are going to be provided by USUL! Since it will be Mother's Day, anybody who needs to leave, will be able to leave. We will have a BBQ and drinks after the first round and another fun random flip round for whoever decides to stick around. Ivan Basargin and I are personally putting up a $200 Ace Pot to start off (if anybody else wants to throw in, please PM me). If it doesn't get hit, every penny will go towards the final fund that goes directly to the cause. We will have CTPs (or longest putts) on EVERY hole! We will also be selling raffle tickets for various different prizes, with the main prize being a 24-chain MVP Disc Golf basket with a Transit bag! (No need to be present to win). If anyone is willing to donate anything for CTP prizes, raffle prizes or the BBQ, please reach out to me! Every little bit helps!
