About this tournament

Welcome to the OSUDGC Buckeye Battle, the second fundraiser tournament for the Ohio State Disc Golf Club! This tournament will be a 1-day, 2-round doubles tournament, held at Lobdell Reserve Disc Golf Course.
Tournament Format:
- Round 1: Best-Shot Doubles: Both team members will throw off the teepad. The team then chooses which of the two discs to play from on each subsequent throw until one player's disc comes to rest in the basket.
-Round 2: Alternate-Shot Doubles: Team members alternate tee shots, for example Partner 1 tees from the odd number holes, Partner 2 tees from the even number holes. After the tee shot on each hole, the players alternate each throw until the disc comes to rest in the basket.
The MPO and MA2 divisions will play from the long tees, while the MA4 division will play from the short tees
Entry Fee Breakdown:
The tournament will cost $60/team ($30/person), where $35/team ($17.50/person) will goes to payouts (provided by Six Sided Discs for MA2 and MA4, cash payout for MPO), and $25/team ($12.50/person) goes to the OSU Disc Golf Club. The payouts will go to the top 33% in each division.
Additional Items:
- $2 ace pool. If no ace is hit, the money will be donated to the OSU Disc Golf Club.
- $3 CTP. There will be 3 separate CTP's, with prizes for each CTP
Divisions:
-MPO (Open): open to any team of any rating
-MA2 (Intermediate): open to teams with a combined PDGA rating of 1,900 and below
-MA4 (Novice): open to teams with a combined PDGA rating of 1,700 and below
Scoring:
uDisc live scoring will be used. There will also be optional paper scorecards available.
