About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Come represent your school in the first (maybe ever) NC Scholastic Disc Golf Championship!
This will be open to any age student who is currently enrolled in school (Public, Private, Home, Charter, etc.)
We will have a Varsity Division (For High School Students only) Junior Varsity Division (for High School Students only)
Students not in High School can register in the 18 and Under, 15 and Under, 12 and Under, and 10 and Under divisions.
Players in the Junior ≤12, Junior ≤10, divisions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during tournament rounds. Additionally, any player younger than 13 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian regardless of the division they play in. A single parent or guardian may be responsible for multiple junior players in the same group if agreed upon by all of the parents/guardians prior to the start of the round. Players in the Junior ≤18 and Junior ≤15 divisions may be accompanied by a parent or guardian during tournament rounds.
There are no age, class, or player rating restrictions. A high school senior who turns 19 in the calendar year is not eligible to play in a PDGA Junior division, but they can play in one of the scholastic divisions. A player who is so good that they accepted a cash prize at a tournament can still play in one of these divisions. Graduating seniors and rising freshman (eighth graders) may play in either Varsity or JV divisions.
*You DO NOT have to have be a PDGA member to play in this tournament. The normal extra fee to participate as a non-PDGA member is waived for Junior and Scholastic Divisions.
If you would like to pursue your PDGA Membership you may do that online at https://www.pdga.com/membership
