About this tournament
This tournament will be using both the Steady Ed and W.R. Jackson courses at the International Disc Golf Center in Appling, GA, the home of the PDGA.
Field: 90 competitors; 2 even pools A/B;
Format: 2 day tournament on 2 Courses:
Course 1 - Steady Ed - LONG Pads
Course 2 - W.R. Jackson - LONG Pads (Pro Worlds Layout)
Day 2 (PM round); Finals, Shotgun Start; 36 competitors; Course #2;
Format is subject to change if the event does not fill.
There will also be a last minute qualifier held on Friday before this tournament if there are still any qualifier spots open.
Note this last chance qualifier is not an official NG qualifier thus the low score of the day will not get a free entry fee to the regional unless there are 30 or more competitors. Players will receive a players pack and a chance to qualify.
There will also be early check-in on Friday.
After three rounds Sunday afternoon there will be a cut to 36 players.
Top 8 finishers will move on to the national championships at Fountain Hills in Arizona on November 17-19th.
1st place prize will include trophy, entry to national championship, and an all expense paid trip.
2nd and 3rd place will get a trophy, and have their entry fees paid.
4th - 8th place will earn invitations to the national championship.
Top 72 finishers will all earn a pair of Shady Ray sunglasses.
