In Mikes meltdown with the meld after leaving tournament central and then returning to us to threaten the meld with its destruction ("i will throw this on the ground right now") it was even further damaged when he roughly deposited it back into its display case. The glass that was cracked is now broken several figures within the case are also broken or off the diorama.

I have had the damaged latches replaced so the display box can be carried again safely. now we are going to have to see about replacing the glass cover and fixing the damaged figurines.

What should have been a few days of TLC on the meld is going to take longer. Your concerns mike about the meld are noted.

Take notice the board of A3 (not I) decided to hold the meld so we could give it some attention, your actions do not help with the Melds disposition at all mike.

I agree with Darren. LEDs look cooler in the air, can be easily found year around unlike glow plastic that disappears in the snow, and discs with LEDs affixed can double as basket illuminators. ... show more ›

LEDs look cooler in the air, can be easily found year around unlike glow plastic that disappears in the snow, and discs with LEDs affixed can double as basket illuminators. LEDs are far cheaper than glow discs, not everyone has $50-100 to drop on a nice group of glow discs and why should I buy more discs when I have plenty of extras to which I can tape an LED.

As for the modern glow disc, my brand new glo nuke was totally discharged by the time I got to it which is pathetic. The same is true for my older glow discs, they don't hold a charge for more than a 10-20 seconds.

I understand the Tradition argument, just don't agree with it and consequently no longer attend.

Yeah tradition is tough but sometimes necessary. For the Meld you must play with GLOW plastic only! otherwise you are just playing to win a Tombstone trophy with the payouts. but the MELD (name on the trophy) goes to the lowest GLOW round score for all divisions.

Jon you can always come out if there is still room, start late and take some 7's if you like, assuming you are more interested in the Meld or not concerned but want to just have some fun come out late.

There is no trophy for AM Masters planned as they have not been playing tournaments for us regularly but the same applies there. we have 2 extra blank trophies that can be engraved after the fact with enough overall turnout and minimum levels met.

Dick Liesonya i have seen LED's fly i prefer them to GLOW personally but that trophy is all about tradition and history. So to play for the Meld you must play with GLOW only and that includes your putter. To play in the event you can use GLOW, LED's Glow Tape or normal discs if you are so inclined.

Player pack for AM's will be your choice of a glow nuke, buzzz or Stalker or a choice of Crystal Plastic disc while supplies last.
We will have LED's and flashlights for sale at the event, as well as glow plastic as per above. We do have a glow tracker or 2 as well.
