    10:00am - 10:30am

    10:00 AM to 10:30 AM: Check-In and Same-Day Registration

    Player check-in and in-person registration will open at 10:00 AM near tournament central. Please arrive during this window to sign in, confirm your spot, and get ready for the 11:00 AM shotgun start.

    Same-day registration will be available if spots remain.

    10:40am - 10:45am

    10:40 AM: Player Meeting

    We’ll hold a short player meeting at 10:40 AM before the shotgun start. We’ll go over card assignments, course notes, scoring, CTP details, and any final reminders before players head to their starting holes.

    11:00am

    11:00 AM: Tee Off

    We’ll kick things off at 11:00 AM with a shotgun start. After the player meeting, each card will head to its assigned hole and start the round together.

    The tournament will be one 18-hole round.

    2:00pm

    After the Round: Awards and Payouts

    Awards, payouts, and CTP prizes will be handled at the Party for the Parks stage after the 18-hole round is complete.

    Once your card finishes, please turn in your scorecard and stick around for the celebration. We’ll announce the top three cash winners, CTP winners, and any other tournament prizes from the stage.

The Mt. Simon Classic will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Mt. Simon Park with an 11:00 AM shotgun start. Players will be randomly assigned to cards and will play one 18-hole round.

Entry is $20 per player.

Advance registration is encouraged. We’ll also welcome same-day registration at the park if spots are still available.

Guaranteed Cash Prize Pool

We’ll be paying out a $270 guaranteed cash prize pool to the top three finishers:

1st Place: $135
2nd Place: $80
3rd Place: $55

We’ll also have CTP prizes, including limited edition discs.

Payouts will be announced at the Party for the Parks stage after the round, so stick around, grab a drink, catch some music, and celebrate with us.

We are still accepting hole sponsors and prize donations for the disc golf event. Hole sponsorships are $30. If you’re interested in sponsoring a hole or donating a prize, please message the Northside Hill Neighborhood Association Facebook page.

The Mt. Simon Classic is part of Party for the Parks, a full community fundraiser happening at Mt. Simon Park after the round.

So yes, come for the disc golf, but plan to stick around.

After the tournament, Party for the Parks will continue with live music, a beer tent, food, games, raffles, and plenty of reasons to hang out at the park for the rest of the day. The music lineup includes ValleyKil, Woodzen, and ECedm.

This is bigger than just a disc golf tournament. It’s a neighborhood-led park party raising money for the Mt. Simon bathroom project, with proceeds supporting the effort to build a restroom near the Upper Mt. Simon playground and pavilion area.

Come out for a fun round at Mt. Simon, chase a few prizes, grab a drink, catch some music, support the park, and help us build something Mt. Simon has needed for a long time.
