Midnight Sun Annual Ladies Tournament- Throw Pink

Come compete with other ladies under the Midnight sun in the wilderness city of Whitehorse Yukon. This tournament is modelled after a C-tier “True Amateur”event. All players will receive a generous prize pack with their choice of a putter and a driver and a mini. Other items will be added to the pack as well. Trophies will be provided for places 1st-3rd in each division.

We have partnered with Throw Pink to make this a charity event to raise funds for Yukon Aboriginal Women’s Council. All registration fees will go towards YAWC. https://yawc.ca/
We hope to help local women improve their health and remove barriers to participation in recreation. There are options at registration to donate more if you feel so inclined.

There will be a skills clinic in the morning and we have brought up professional and advance Canadian disc golf women to host. This skills clinic will be tailored to who attends and their skill level. Will be going over putting, driving, and a few rules. This skills clinic is mandatory for any new players

We aim to create a safe place for all involved. Men may be present as volunteers and as caddy’s. Please indicate whether or not you intend to bring a male caddy and whether or not you have a preference to play on a card with no male caddies or not.

COVID PROTOCOLS & GUIDELINES
We will follow ALL COVID mandates, protocols and guidelines set forth by the Yukon Government.

At this time, proof of vaccination IS NOT required for outdoor sport events. However, there is always the chance mandates will change. We will email registered players with any changes as well as post here and to our social media outlets any changes or updates made to the registration system regarding COVID policy.

By registering for this tournament, you acknowledge that you are doing so knowing the vaccination policy can change at anytime!
Make yourself familiar with the REFUND POLICY outlined below, as it is the only guideline being used for ALL PLAYERS.

Yukon DISC-versity Guild is responsible for all refunds/cancelations. Official withdrawals must be submitted through Disc Golf Scene or in communication with the Tournament Directors.

Discussions with persons other than the TDs, shall not be considered an official withdraw from the tournament!

Cancelations prior to May 30th are subject to a $7.00 processing fee
No refunds after May 30th but all your funds from registration will be donated to YAWC
