About this tournament

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our event sponsors: the Michigan Disc Golf Organization and Disc Baron. Their support helps us keep registration costs very low while still providing a substantial player package. No berths are required to register for this event. We appreciate the generous support of Discraft and its sponsorship of the Michigan Disc Golf Organization and it's related state championships.
Divisions MJ06/FJ06 and MJ08/FJ08 will play Round 1 only, as recommended under PDGA Competition Manual 1.13 (Youth Safety).
Both courses will be utilized with the short tee pads, for divisions playing two rounds, one on each course. Some holes may also have a temporary short tee pads. More details will be released no later than May 1.
We will be following PDGA Competition Manual 1.13 (Youth Safety) with strict adherence. Please read this section of the PDGA Competition Manual prior to registering.

This is a true amateur event, and as such there are no payouts. The winner of each division will receive a trophy, and every player will receive a player package valued above their entry fee.
The minimum player package will include:
Two (2) Z Discs and one (1) D Putter
One Disc Baron branded item
Lunch for the player and one (1) guardian
Additional standard lunches will be available for purchase on site. Additional non-vegetarian meals will not be available for purchase on site. Disc Baron will have a selection of discs onsite and players will be able to choose from available options for their player pack discs.
Numerous course officials will be on the course to assist with rulings and to help resolve any issues that may arise.
MJ6/8 and FJ6/8 will play shortened tee pad marked with flags on Deerfield 5, 11, 18 and Wildwood 1, 4, 8, 18. These teepad will be marked the week before the event.
