Merced Disc Golf Club
is proud to present the
MERCED MELTDOWN
This is a CenCAL Series Event
This will be a one-day, two-round C-Tier event.
This event alongside the El Capitan Classic & The Widowmaker at Fahrens Park, will be raising funds to install TEE PADS for the back nine holes as well as other upgrades as funds allow for the Fahrens Disc Golf Park in Merced, California. Fahrens Park has been in operation for over 20 years and has been a technical and beautiful place to play and visit. It has been the responsibility of the MCDGC in partnership with the City of Merced to keep up the DG park and the club intends to create some exciting improvements for everyone to experience!
So please come out and help celebrate our city, rejuvenate our park, help out our club, score some amazing swag, and help grow the sport!
Water stations will be located at multiple locations across the course along with shade structures on exposed holes on the back 9.
Following the final round, there will be a Raffle for some amazing prizes, a Ring of Fire Throw-down, and a CTP shootout before the awards: if the Ace Pot is not hit the ace pot will be split and 50% will go to the end of the tournament CTP Shootout/ the other 50% will be donated to the club for Tee Pads!
Trophies will be given for First, Second, and Third Place for each division if applicable.
Pro Payout through Paypal.
AM Payout for AM40, AM50, AM60, AM1, and AM2 will be through OTB Discs and sent VIA email a few days after the event.
~Use of Limited Exceptions~
Our team will ensure that the use of limited exceptions (hole sponsorships & volunteers) meets the criteria and intent established by 1.02 in the PDGA competition manual. The number of players gaining entry into the event using these exceptions will not exceed 33% of the field.

Merced County Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

Sponsorship Fees will not be refunded but are transferable upon request.
Partial refunds will be given per PDGA requirements (section 1.03, see details below).

A $5 fee will be charged to all players who withdraw in addition to the percentages below. Please request refunds via the link in your registration email, the withdraw button on the Players tab for the tournament, or via email to the TD contact email ([email redacted]). Refunds requested via the disc golf scene comments will not be honored.
A. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event before July 12 (30 days prior to the event) will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee.
B. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event between July 13 and July 28 (15 to 29 days prior to registration closing) will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee minus a $5 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, there will be a 50% monetary refund.
C. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event after July 29 (14 days prior) will receive a 100% monetary refund minus a $5 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is NOT filled there will be a 25% monetary refund.
D. Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to August 11 (when registration closes) forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack.
