    Raffle starts, Raffle proceeds will be donated to 'caring hearts' a local place that cares for younger adults with disabilities!!!
    Last year we raised $861 dollars and donated all the proceeds to the Assurance Home and even made the local news paper, This was a passion of Marvin's to donate and help local charity's so lets keep the amazing deed going and raise even more money for charity this year with a bigger and better raffle!!!!!!

Good morning, players, friends, and members of the disc golf community,

On behalf of the tournament team, the Dunlap family, and all our volunteers and sponsors — welcome to the 5th Annual Marvin Dunlap Memorial Disc Golf Tournament here in beautiful Roswell, New Mexico.

We are honored to have each of you here — not just to compete, but to come together as a community to celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many: Marvin Dunlap.

Marvin was more than just a disc golfer. He was a friend, a mentor, and a constant presence in the local scene — always ready with a word of encouragement, a smile, or a helping hand. Whether you knew him well or are just hearing his story today, his spirit continues to live on in the way we support one another, in every throw, and in events like this one.

This tournament is about more than scores — it’s about honoring a legacy and giving back. We're proud to announce that proceeds from the raffle this year will go toward supporting a local charity called Caring Hearts who work with younger adults with disabilities. By being here today, you’re not only keeping Marvin’s memory alive, you’re making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
