About this tournament
2 rounds of play
BIG NEWS, Y'ALL! JOSH AND NATE HAVE DECIDED TO INCLUDE A FREE RAFFLE FOR ALL PLAYERS. ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE ONE RAFFLE TICKET WITH REGISTRATION. AND IF YOU REGISTER BY MIDNIGHT ON FRIDAY, MAY 1ST, YOU'LL RECEIVE TWO RAFFLE TICKETS. YEE-HAW!
Howdy y'all! Welcome to the inaugural Rumble at the Rodeo tournament at Glen Helen Regional Park. We are looking to get stuff going back here at the same grounds as the SB County Sheriff's Rodeo and starting it off with a new disc golf tournament that we hope will be a staple for years to come.
This is a PDGA Sanctioned C-tier SoCal series event with 2 rounds played on Saturday, May 9. Current SoCal Disc Golf Club members will earn points towards the 2026 SoCal series. If you are not a current member, and would like to join the SoCal Disc Golf Club for 2026, you can use this link for the membership page. https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournament/2025_So_Cal_Disc_Golf_Club_Membership_2026
This will be a True Amateur event for the amateur divisions. Amateur players will receive a player pack containing at least 1 event-stamped Innova disc (we have some fun options to choose from) along with other items (tbd) that meet or exceed the PDGA value requirement for C-tier events. Amateur division competitors will receive custom event trophies based on the number of competitors in each division per the PDGA standards. Professional divisions will be playing for payouts through PayPal.
PDGA requires the posting of all pass thru fees for the event:
Course Rental/Greens Fees: $750 total divided by the number of players.
PDGA Fee: $3 per player
SoCal Disc Golf Club Fee: $2 per players
TD fee: Up to $3 per player
Please be advised that the cost to enter the park is $15 if you do not have an annual pass. We recommend carpooling.
Non-current PDGA members are welcome to play this event since it is a C-tier. There is a $15 temporary membership fee that is charged at registration and sent to the PDGA if you are not a current member. If you would like to join the PDGA or the SoCal Disc Golf Club, let us know and we can show you how to get registered for either (or both).
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE AN EVENT CUSTOM-STAMPED DISC, ALL AMATEURS MUST REGISTER BY THURSDAY, APRIL 16TH AT MIDNIGHT. IF YOU SIGN UP AFTER THIS CUTOFF DATE, YOU MAY RECEIVE A DIFFERENT DISC OF EQUAL VALUE.
