About this tournament
Skills Session are brought to you by Christopher McCurry and Bang-A-Chain.
In March there will be sessions on:
March 9th (Sunday): Forehands at River Hill, focusing on the different kinds of forehand shapes and distances needed to score birdies.
March 22nd: Throwing for distance at Falling Springs, focusing on breaking down longer holes while still getting the distances need to get birdies.
Registration will be first come, first served for MA1 to MA4 players only. There are 4 slots per session for the time being.
Cost:
The cost for each session is $25.
Additional Details:
$2 goes to an ace pot that will roll over to each session until an Ace is hit.
Each session will have a CTP hole and prize for participants provided by Bang-A-Chain.
Each participant will be registered for the Sponsor's Only Round for the Lafayette Classic on Friday June 27th at 1PM.
What to Expect:
Participants will play a scored round of disc golf on a specified course focusing intensely on a specific skill with direction and instruction from Chris. Time will vary by course and skill, but expect 2.5 hours at least. Participants should come prepared to learn and grow in their game.
Sessions will start at 9:00am. Please arrive 15 minutes early to warm-up. We will begin right at 9:00am.
About Chris:
Chris teaches high school English and Literary Arts at Lafayette High School. He's been playing disc golf competitively for 4 years. He's the current captain of Team Bang-a-Chain, and he hosts the Lafayette Classic each June.
Cancellation and Refunds:
In the event weather or other unforeseen circumstances forces a cancellation, a full refund (minus fees) will be granted. If you need a refund, please request it 24 hours in advance.
